The Handy Tips and Community Highlights for the Rollei 35AF!

Dear Friends of Rollei 35AF,

Since mid October we have been shipping out pre-orders every week as cameras arrive in small batches from our factory. We know the process of fulfilling everyone’s orders may seem slow, but we’re continually working hard with the factory in producing and shipping as fast as we can.

Loading symbol
From some of the early recipients, a common inquiry we have received is with regards to the “loading” display on the OLED when loading film. This is often due to the film back not being fully closed. If you haven’t seen it yet, our “How to load film” tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn5nRpGmu4o) can provide a bit of guidance to loading your first roll. It can take a bit of getting used to, but we’re sure once you’ve successfully loaded a roll you will get the hang of it.

Serial number
Another common question is where the serial number is located. If you open the film back and look at the bottom of the camera body (see picture below), you will find the serial number next to the text “Designed by Mint”, which you can use to register your camera for warranty.
